Graham and I are learning how to use the Studio Live mixer and related presonus software. This page helps us curate useful resources. Both of us are starting out as absolute beginners.

Basic resources relating to counting and musical notation

1 Mixing Basics - this is good for explaining the words and terms we need to know
Adding markers : open marker tool with flag. As the song is playing add markers using shift-Y  eg at start and finish, verse chorus /instrumental
Exporting a mix
Once the flags are set, you go to Song → Export Mix down.
→ Name your file.
→ Select the format for mixdown
→ Select Export Range as Between song Start/End marker or another setting you have set up.

Hit Okay and your stereo file will be found in the "Location" you have set at the top of the "Export Mixdown" page.
